In What Language Did Paul The Shaliach Communicate? - Part 27 |
The Hebrew word Shaliach means someone who is sent from the congregation of the Hebrews, John 21:21-23. |
The scripture clearly teaches that when Paul had a choice of languages in which to address the people he chose the Holy Tongue Hebrew. |
The Apostle Paul (Shaliach) was asked if he could speak Greek? |
Acts 21:37 And as Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto thee? Who said, Canst thou speak Greek? 38 Art not thou that Egyptian, which before these days madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers? |
The Chief Captain had a suspicion that Paul might have been from Alexandria. |
Yehoshuha did not use the Greek Septuagint, and neither did Paul. Yehoshuha told his disciples to hold to the Hebrew Tanakh. The KJV copied the layout of the books from the Septuagint, and incorrectly introduces many Greek words, which takes away from Yehoshuha’s true identity. It is used in this series only because it is readily available most anywhere and is trust worthy because words not in the text are Italicized. |
Paul the Shaliach chose to address the people in Hebrew and identified himself as one. |
Acts 21:39 But Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people. 40 And when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when there was made a great silence, he spake unto them in the Hebrew tongue, saying, 22:1 Men, brethren, and fathers, hear ye my defence which I make now unto you. 2 (And when they heard that he spake in the Hebrew tongue to them, they kept the more silence: and he saith,) |
Many incorrectly teach that G-d transmitted His word in a sin language, but the fact is all the scripture with few exceptions (as a few lines in Daniel) were written in the Holy Tongue Hebrew. |
The scripture above points to the fact that the people whom Paul was addressing understood Hebrew and paid special attention when Paul was speaking in Hebrew. The notion that Paul's epistles were written by Paul in Greek is nonsense. |
It seems odd that after hearing Yehoshuha's voice in Hebrew, and after communicating with the people in Hebrew, Paul would choose to write his epistles in one of the sin languages, mainly Greek. It seems even more ridiculous that Latin would be used by Jerome, and even more ridiculous that Luther would continue the error and use German. |
An amazing thing happens when a sin language is translated into Hebrew. |
All the unnecessary words that are added in a sin language fall away. |
Example: |
A three word sentence in Hebrew takes eight words to express the same idea in English. |
The Torah teaches not to add or take away from the word of G-d. |
Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the L-RD your G-d which I command you. |
Deuteronomy 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it. |
Proverbs 30:5 Every word of G-d is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. |
Isaiah 30:1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the L-RD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: |
Yehoshuha identifies himself with the Hebrew Alef-Bet. |
Revelation 22:13 I am Alpha (Alef) and Omega (Tav), the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. 16 I Jesus (Yehoshuha) have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, G-d shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, G-d shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, L-rd Jesus (Yehoshuha Moshiach).21 The grace of our L-rd Jesus Christ (Yehoshuha Moshiach) be with you all. Amen. |
This series in the study of the gospels and related subjects started with an explanation of the Hebrew Alef-Bet. Yehoshuha's words in the Revelation ends the writings with the first and last letter of the Hebrew Alef-Bet. Yehoshuha gives a stern warning and confirms the words of the Torah not to add or take away from the word of G-d. |
